You are welcome to consume alcohol within Sydney Olympic Park, however, we ask that it be in moderation and not disrupting other park users.

  • It must be placed in a clear area, away from fuel and never on tables or other infrastructure
  • No wood burning BBQs
  • Gas bottle must be within test dates

This program is currently suspended whilst Sydney Olympic Park Authority explores safe and practicable methods for reintroducing busking into the Park.

Drones

We do not allow the general public to fly drones within Sydney Olympic Park for any purpose. A permit is required to use a drone for approved Park management purposes. Street parking

In addition to our car parks, there are free, time-limited on-street parking spaces available within the Town Centre including along Olympic Boulevard, Murray Rose Avenue, Dawn Fraser Avenue, Figtree Drive, Herb Elliot Avenue, Showground Road, Grand Parade and Parkview Drive.

Pay-and-display street parking is also available at $7 an hour capped at $35 per day along Herb Elliot Avenue, Dawn Fraser Avenue and Showground Road.

Street parking may not always be available during major events due to road closures in place. You can find out more about road closures for a particular date on our interactive map.

Sydney Olympic Park is a restricted parking area so you must only park in marked bays. Parking outside of a marked bay or staying longer than the time permitted puts you at risk of an infringement.
