We have nearly 400 accessible car parking spaces available, including 179 in P1 car park alone. On-street accessible spaces can be found on Showground Road, Herb Elliot Avenue and Dawn Fraser Avenue (West). When parking within an accessible space, please ensure to display your Mobility Parking Permit to avoid any fines.
You are welcome to consume alcohol within Sydney Olympic Park, however, we ask that it be in moderation and not disrupting other park users.
We have public barbeques (BBQs) available across our parklands. Check our interactive map for exact locations
You may bring your own BBQ to the park, but please follow these rules:
- It must be placed in a clear area, away from fuel and never on tables or other infrastructure
- No wood burning BBQs
- Gas bottle must be within test dates
- Charcoal can be used with personal BBQs and bins are provided onsite, located near the public BBQs
- No private BBQs can be used on Total Fire Ban days
This program is currently suspended whilst Sydney Olympic Park Authority explores safe and practicable methods for reintroducing busking into the Park.
We do not allow the general public to fly drones within Sydney Olympic Park for any purpose. A permit is required to use a drone for approved Park management purposes. This is to protect the public from privacy and safety concerns and also to protect our wildlife havens from disturbances causes from the noise and movement of the device.
All of our roles are advertised through the I Work for NSW portal.
For commercial film and photo shoots, please complete a Film and Photo Shoot Application.
For a wedding or special occasion, please complete a Wedding and Special Occasion Photography Permit.
It is illegal to fish within Sydney Olympic Park, including from riverbanks. The Park is an environmental conservation area and all fish, crustaceans and molluscs are protected. These may also be toxic for human consumption due to historic pollution of Homebush Bay.
Sydney Olympic Park Authority does not book or manage food trucks. Please contact the venue, business, or event organiser about running your food truck at their events or premises.

If you lost your item within a particular venue, we recommend you contacting the venue directly. If you lost your item within our Town Centre, in a Car Park, or Parklands, please email us on [email protected] with a description, location, date/time and we can find out if it has been located or handed in.
We implement a proactive and extensive program aimed to reduce pest mosquitoes on lands under our care to improve comfort levels for people living, visiting and working in the area. Find out more about our Mosquito Management Program.
We have a variety of picnic shelters located throughout our Parklands. Unless otherwise indicated, they are to be shared amongst other visitors.

Free motorbike parking is available on Herb Elliot Avenue, inside P1 Car Park (before the boom gates) and a designated bay in P6 car park (off Australia Ave). Fees apply if you enter a car park.
Pre-booked parking is normally available from 6 months up until midnight the day before you require a car space. It secures you a car space within your desired car park for a 24 hour period.

In addition to our car parks, there are free, time-limited on-street parking spaces available within the Town Centre including along Olympic Boulevard, Murray Rose Avenue, Dawn Fraser Avenue, Figtree Drive, Herb Elliot Avenue, Showground Road, Grand Parade and Parkview Drive.
Pay-and-display street parking is also available at $7 an hour capped at $35 per day along Herb Elliot Avenue, Dawn Fraser Avenue and Showground Road.
Street parking may not always be available during major events due to road closures in place. You can find out more about road closures for a particular date on our interactive map.
Sydney Olympic Park is a restricted parking area so you must only park in marked bays. Parking outside of a marked bay or staying longer than the time permitted puts you at risk of an infringement.
